Completion of an Associate’s Degree or two years of higher education equivalent to 48 credit hours with a C or higher, or completion of the NC DOL Apprenticeship Program, or completion of the NC ATA Professional Development Plan.
This is an END OF YEAR 9 month position for 25 hours per week. This position will only work when students are in session.

Part Time employees who work at least 20 hours but less than 30 hours are considered part-time and are able to receive major medical insurance by paying the total premium (employee and employer portion). The State does not pay a portion of the health premium for permanent, part-time employees.
Assists the teacher or principal by helping students to achieve the standards and objectives of excellence as set by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Works cooperatively with the principal and teacher in providing a classroom environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional programs and available resource materials.
