Provides reading and math services to Title I nonpublic school students at a nonpublic school site.
A valid elementary teaching license K-6. Applicants must meet the highly qualified standards for NCLB.
Experience: A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching reading and math. Applicants will need excellent communication and human relations’ skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Identify the Title I nonpublic school students eligible for Title I services.
Administer diagnostic and assessment instruments to determine student skill deficiencies and academic mastery.
Provide ongoing quality instruction to Title I students in grades K-8 in reading and math.
Maintain accurate student achievement and programmatic records.
Communicate students’ progress to classroom teachers, nonpublic school administrators, and parents.
Assist nonpublic schools in meeting the Title I Parent Involvement requirements.
