Interviews will be conducted by the Office of Prevention & Intervention once you have been deemed successful with the initial application screen.
Please be advised that The Office of Prevention & Intervention conducts counselor interviews during 3 selection windows throughout the year in February, June, and November.
Please note that The Office of Talent builds eligibility pools in order to proactively respond to needs our schools. You will be added to this pool in score order. If we are fully staffed with counselors, we will only reach out to this eligibility pool should vacancies arise throughout the school year. In April, The School District opens our Site Selection portal to ALL eligible candidates. If you have been made eligible you will have the autonomy to select schools of your choice to interview with during the site selection period. Only the schools that are projecting a vacancy for the upcoming year will be available to choose from.
Please note that not all qualified candidates may be selected for an interview. Additional factors, including, but not limited to, disciplinary action, ability to follow directions, punctuality, and professional conduct will be considered in the evaluation process.
